Are you an English speaking

13-16-year-old in Philly or the greater Philly area (PA, NJ, or DE)?

Or are you the parent/legal guardian of an English speaking 13-16-year-old in Philly or the greater Philly area (PA, NJ, or DE)?

Then YES!

Both projects are looking at the relationships between life events, thinking styles, sensitivity to rewards, the brain’s processing of rewards, and moods. Project RISE also looks at your immune system, and project CREST also looks at your circadian rhythms! The studies are observational and involve no medication.

What is the compensation?

Up to $750 or $1,075 depending on which project you participate in.

We are funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Our protocols are also approved by Temple University's Institutional Review Board (IRB).

What are the next steps?

Where is the research conducted?

After you complete our online survey, a member of our lab may call you and your parent/legal guardian for a 15-20 minute call to discuss the study components and ask some additional questions to see if you're eligible!

Our studies are partially remote and partially in person. Our lab is in Weiss Hall on Temple University's main campus. We are one block from the Cecil B. Moore subway station, and we will reimburse you for your travel!
